State Vocational Rehabilitation Program

Each state provides vocational rehabilitation (VR) services to people with disabilities, including those who are blind or have low vision. These services focus on helping the person obtain, maintain, or advance in employment. More information about VR services is provided in our For People with B/LV section.

Some states have one agency that provides services to people with all types of disabilities, and some states have two agencies, including one that provides services just to people who are blind or have low vision.
